Kennedy walking track - south mission beach

Starting at South Mission beach, this popular coastal trail is a scenic and enjoyable 4km (one way) route across beach and coastal rainforests to get to multiple destinations: Lovers beach (320m), Lugger bay (1.2km), Mije creek (2.3km), Morgans Lookout (2.7km) and Kennedy bay (3.9km). 

Alongside beautiful island views, visitors have the chance to see cassowaries, wallabies and other rainforest animals, and from ocean lookout points, turtles, dolphins and dugongs may also be spotted. The trail is suitable for a wide range of walkers, although the second half of the track is more suited to those comfortable with rock-hopping and stairs.
